Abstract
A case of a left Fronto-zygomatico-orbito-maxillary complex which has an unusual aligned fracture pattern, noticeable disarrangement, multiple fragmentations, and extensive communition of its skeletal parts with orbital apex syndrome. Combining hemi-coronal and intraoral vestibular surgical methods gave surgeons access to all of the fracture sites with sufficient surgical access. The numerous misplaced shattered fragments may then be successfully reduced, precisely re-approximated, and securely fixed.
The malar prominence, orbital volume, and skeletal morphology were magnificently restored to their preinjury states, preventing the development of any lingering facial deformity, functional deficiency, or ocular problems.
